When I first started learning philosophy, I was confused about where to start. There were many terms that were difficult to understand and so many ways and methods to learn. The Author's Biography of the Philosophy of Science Novel - Ahmad Tafsir
Sayyid Ahmad Tafsir (born in 1951) is a popular Muslim philosopher and intellectual from Indonesia. He is known as one of Indonesia's contemporary philosophers who has contributed to the development of philosophy in Indonesia.
Tafsir pursued his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and then continued his master's and doctoral studies in philosophy at the University of Indonesia.
Throughout his career, Tafsir has taught at several leading universities in Indonesia, such as UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Gadjah Mada University, and the University of Indonesia. He also became a member of the National Study Council (DRN) and a member of the Indonesian National Committee for UNESCO.
